Sushi
Sushi was surrendered to the rescue because her owner developed severe asthma after she had been with her family since she was 3 months old. The family made the difficult decision to contact the rescue organization as they could no longer care for her. She had always been an indoor cat and had never been exposed to the outdoors or other animals.
Due to the stress of being moved between 3 different homes after being surrendered, Sushi initially displayed aggressive behaviors such as hissing and biting. However, after about ten days in her foster home, trust in humans resurfaced, and her aggression subsided. She has since become a very affectionate cat who loves cuddles and purrs. She is exclusive and doesn't tolerate other animals. Because of her initial aggression, a home without children is recommended. People that know cats should take care of her.
