Story
Henry does not know his history, only that he was brought to the Ecarisaj with a problem with his head. He was probably hit with an axe (?) and we think that the intention was probably to kill him. Anyway, a person from Germany asked us to take him out because she wanted to adopt him, but she changed her mind. So he was coming to us in care. In the beginning, he did not like at all to be touched on his head, but he gets used to it over time.
Behavior
Henry is an old and somewhat grumpy dog with a low level of energy. His biggest joy is food, therefore he is also overweight. He likes to be petted by people he knows and probably enjoys staying outside and taking short walks in nice weather. He sleeps a lot, is afraid of rain and thunder, and welcomes a nice and cozy dog bed. He is okay with other dogs, is not playful, and does not seek contact with them, mostly ignoring them. He has never been tested with cats, so we cannot say anything about his compatibility.
Medical status
As a young dog, he was hit in the head, and you can also feel that his skull has a small deformity. Now that he is quite old, he has problems with his spine, which deteriorates, and he has difficulty standing up. He is under continuous treatment.
