Story
Fistic was found in a field weakened and suffering greatly with a fracture of the front limb. He had to be amputated of a front limb following a very severe fracture with many shards. The bone was shattered, and the leg was not salvageable, which is why we were forced to accept the amputation.
Behavior
Fistic is house-trained. He coexists very well with two cats currently. He is calm indoors. He prefers quiet walks and cuddling sessions. His handicap does not bother him at all; he can run, get into the car alone, or climb stairs like any other dog. He walks very well on a leash, does not pull, and does not require intense exercise. He is accustomed to both city and countryside living. He gets along with all dogs (males and females). He has never growled or shown aggression. He knows the command « sit ». He is very eager to please and enjoys being brushed. He is a very gentle, calm, and affectionate dog, very attached to his owner. For Fistic, we are looking for a family, preferably in a house with another dog or someone working from home, as he is quite anxious about being alone and may bark when left alone, which could be problematic in an apartment. Apart from that, he is very easy overall. He is friendly with children as long as they are calm and respectful.
Medical status
Fistic had to be amputated of a front limb following a very severe fracture with many shards. The bone was shattered, and the leg was not salvageable. He is fully vaccinated and regularly dewormed.
